Do You Handle Out-Of-State Moves?

Not right now as state laws are changing and requiring more and more from business owners for interstate transit. However, we do travel to all 4 corners of Colorado.

How Do You Price Moves?

We understand that our clients are always concerned about cost. We base all of our ESTIMATES off of information given by the client or collected during an in home estimate. The ESTIMATE price is not the final invoice. Final Invoicing is based on actual labor time incurred as well as supplies used. We do not charge by estimated cubic footage or weight.

Do We Offer Storage?

Unfortunately, at this point in time we do not offer long term storage options but do have the ability to store your items short term on the truck that your items were loaded in. We believe that moving the items as few times as possible reduces the risk for damage between destinations.

How Do We Handle Inclement Weather?

Peak to Peak is equipped to handle the brutal conditions that exist here in the High Rockies and will do everything possible to complete your move on the scheduled date. We carry chains, ice melt, and shovels on all of our trucks; however, if you are booked for a move, you will need to have your driveway plowed prior to our arrival if snowy conditions are present. Lastly, if conditions are unsafe, we will have to reschedule. Many variable conditions will determine whether or not your move will need to be rescheduled.

Do We Carry Insurance?

  1. Yes, we carry Worker’s Compensation on ALL employees.
  2. Yes, we carry two million dollars of General Liability Insurance.
  3. Yes, we carry cargo/freight insurance per all of our moves.

Do We Move Pianos?

Yes, we move Upright, Baby Grand, and Console Piano. We DO NOT move Grand Pianos.

List Of Items That We Do Not Move

Propane, Ammunition, Power Equipment w/ fuel will need to be drained, Plants, Automobiles (no insurance coverage, Recreational Vehicles including ATV’s, Motorcycles, and Snowmobiles. Call with any questions surrounding any other questionable items.

Fragile Items?

All Fragile items such as Art, Televisions, Lamps, Glass, etc… will need to be properly packed; otherwise, you will be required to sign a damage waiver prior to the items being transported on our truck.

Alternatives –

  1. Sometimes art or fragile items can be difficult to pack. Let us know ahead of time and we’ll bring the proper supplies to get your delicate items packed away safe and secure for transport.
  2.  We will happily load the fragile item/items into your personal vehicle for transportation between locations and unload at the final destination.
